The University of Connecticut Police Department is an internationally accredited law enforcement agency.

Child Safety Seat Installation Request:

The University of Connecticut Police Department provides installation of your child safety seat at the UConn/Storrs Campus for all UConn staff/faculty, students, alumni and Mansfield community. Child safety seats will be installed/inspected every third Wednesday of each month. Appointments are necessary and can be scheduled by calling 860-486-3238 or by completing the Child Safety Seat Installation Request Form below. One of our technicians will call you back to schedule your appointment. Emergency (non-scheduled) installation/inspections will be handled on a case by case basis.
